Phillip is an American educator, photographer,  and inveterate traveler. Originally from the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, he has since resided in New York City, Ireland, China, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan via various fellowship and grant programs including Princeton in Asia and United States Fulbright. He is now trapped in Washington DC studying diplomacy and Asian studies at Georgetown's School of Foreign Service.

Phillip specializes in travel and portrait photography but is eager to further expand into photojournalism and humanitarian photography. He's taken on pro-bono assignments for numerous NGOs such as Catalyst Asia and Babushka Adoption. His travel photography has appeared in Lonely Planet Magazine and China Daily.

When Phillip's not planning his next international adventure (likely to India), he's probably reading some stuffy, long-winded 19th century novel about beleaguered yet persevering British women.
