Phillip is a photographer based in Washington DC. Originally from the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, he has since resided in New York City, Ireland, China, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan via various fellowship and grant programs including Princeton in Asia and United States Fulbright. In addition to portrait and wedding photography, Phillip has taken on pro-bono assignments for numerous NGOs such as Asia Catalyst and Babushka Adoption. His photography has appeared in Politico, Lonely Planet Magazine, and China Daily.
He holds degrees from Columbia University and Georgetown's School of Foreign Service and now works in public diplomacy and public affairs at the US Department of State. When not planning his next international adventure (likely to India), he can be found reading some stuffy, long-winded 19th century novel about beleaguered yet persevering British women.
